Bear steaks 1/4" thick
flour
oil
water
seasoning of choice (salt, pepper, dehydrated onion soup,etc.)
1. Dredge steaks in seasoned flour.
2. Brown quickly in a small amount of oil.
3. Add enough water to cover meat.
4. Cover pot tightly and simmer over low heat, until tender.
5. Thicken gravy to desired consistency with flour.
6. Season to taste.
