Beer Battered Cat Fish by: author unknown
3 lb. catfish
1/4 cup cornmeal
1/4 cup flour
2 eggs, beaten
1 12 oz beer
1/4 cup vegetable oil
salt & pepper to taste
In medium mixing bowl blend flour, cornmeal, salt and pepper
In a separate bowl beat egg well; add beer and minced onions and mix well
Cut the fish into 2 inch cubes or strips.
Heat the oil to 375 degrees.
Roll the catfish in the flour mixture then dip in beer-egg mix then back into
the flour.
Place dipped catfish into the oil and fry to golden brown.
